Who we are
AIgent Expert ("we", "us") is operated by Alex Petrescu, providing AI agent implementation and managed IT services for small and medium businesses in Romania. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at office@aigentexpert.com or +40 752 700 400.
What personal data we collect
We only collect data you give us directly, through:
- Contact and workflow audit requests — name, email, company name, phone number, and any message you write to us.
- The AI Readiness Check quiz — your quiz answers plus the name, email, and company name you provide to see your results.
- Newsletter signup — your email address.
- Discovery call bookings — when you book through our scheduling link, the booking provider (currently Google Calendar appointment scheduling) collects the details you enter there directly; please also review their privacy policy.
- Website analytics (only if you accept the cookie banner) — if you accept, Google Analytics 4 collects standard web analytics data: pages visited, approximate location (country/city level), device/browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This is aggregate usage data, not tied to your name unless you separately submit a form. See our Cookie Policy for how to accept, reject, or change this choice at any time.
We do not collect payment card data, and the website does not process any e-commerce transactions.
Why we process your data
- To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, or deliver a requested workflow audit (legal basis: steps taken at your request, prior to entering a contract).
- To send the "AI for Romanian SMBs" newsletter, only if you subscribed (legal basis: consent — you can withdraw it at any time).
- To improve our services and understand which industries and offers are most relevant to visitors (legal basis: legitimate interest).
- To measure site traffic and page performance via Google Analytics, only if you accepted the cookie banner (legal basis: consent — you can withdraw it at any time from the Cookie Policy page).
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and lead data for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, for the duration of our engagement plus the period required by Romanian accounting and tax law. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. It may be processed by service providers strictly to run this business:
- Our lead-capture form is delivered via a webhook to a Google Apps Script endpoint we control, which stores submissions for our own follow-up.
- Our website is hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google Cloud infrastructure).
- Discovery calls are scheduled via Google Calendar's appointment scheduling.
- If you accepted the cookie banner, Google Analytics processes your usage data as described above; Google acts as our data processor for this purpose.
We do not use third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or sell data to advertisers.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email office@aigentexpert.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).
International transfers
Our hosting and booking providers may process data outside Romania (including on Google Cloud infrastructure within the EU). Where data leaves the EU/EEA, our providers rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services evolve. The "last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.
